Ustka is a spa-and-port town at the mouth of the Słupia in Pomerania: wide beaches and a seafront promenade, a lighthouse at the harbour entrance, handy day hops along the coast and toward Słowiński National Park; the local Baltic is effectively non-tidal.
Ustka sits on the Baltic at the Słupia’s mouth, combining a seaside resort with a working port. A brick lighthouse from the late 19th century marks the entrance on the eastern breakwater and doubles as a city landmark. The shoreline features broad sandy beaches and a long seafront promenade that anchors the summer scene. A pedestrian swing bridge links the eastern and western beaches across the Słupia, streamlining shore logistics.
From Ustka, short coastal day sails are straightforward in either direction. Just to the east lies Słowiński National Park with its moving dunes—a classic fair-weather objective. As elsewhere on Poland’s coast, water levels are driven mainly by wind setup and seiches rather than astronomical tide. A shore-based SAR station operates in town, adding reassurance for planning.
The harbour remains primarily fishing and small commercial, while welcoming yachts in season.
