Hel marinas
Hel is a town at the tip of the Hel Peninsula, with a fishing harbour, sandy beaches and woodland containing former coastal defences.
Hel
The marina lies within the fishing harbour, close to the old part of Hel. A former church by the harbour houses the Fisheries Museum, and fishermen’s houses survive in the nearby streets. Beyond the town are pine woods and the sandy shores of the peninsula’s tip. Old batteries and bunkers remain among the trees, reflecting the close link between the town’s maritime past and coastal defence.
