The very center of the city, convenient mooring, good service
MarinaBay Harbor is a peaceful and comfortable marina in an excellent location, right in the heart of Helsinki. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely plan to return several more times. Mooring was straightforward and hassle-free.
The harbor is surrounded by a variety of restaurants and scenic walking paths, making it a pleasant place to spend time both on and off the boat. There’s a playground for children, as well as a designated dog area or fenced park – a thoughtful touch for families and pet owners alike.
A cozy harbor café operates on-site, where the staff also serve as the harbor masters. You can pay for your berth or mooring fee there and get helpful information about the harbor. The café offers drinks, ice cream, pastries, and some light warm food. During our visit, they had soup and paninis on the menu – simple but tasty options.
The harbor facilities are well-designed and user-friendly. There are clean restrooms for both men and women (with four stalls and sinks on the women’s side), and guests can use the washing machine and dryer free of charge. There’s also a spacious changing area with a sauna and showers – perfect after a day at sea.
Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. The staff were welcoming and helpful, leaving us with a very positive overall impression.
The marina is located almost immediately after the icebreaker berths. Docking is quite convenient. Nearby, there are clubs and restaurants, so the marina is not ideal for those seeking a family-friendly atmosphere. When booking through the website, confirmation arrives quickly, and they send a detailed map of the marina.
