A large city marina in the very center of Ponta Delgada. Compared with other marinas in the Azores, this one is noticeably livelier: there are restaurants, shops, car rentals, the port and the airport nearby. When entering, take into account the movement and berthing of large vessels in the adjacent port, although the approach itself looks fairly straightforward and convenient.
Mooring — to pontoon fingers, there is enough room to manoeuvre, so even single-handed arrivals should not have major problems. The pontoons have water and electricity. The marina is well sheltered: there is a large breakwater inside, and additional protection is provided by large vessels.
Access to the guest pontoons is restricted by passes. At the same time the marina itself is right in the city center, so there are many tourists around and it can be quite noisy. Because of its size and urban atmosphere it lacks the intimacy found, for example, in Velas or Horta.
I visited the marina from shore and did not come here by yacht, so I did not personally check the showers and toilets. I saw the harbormaster's office, the Blue Flag and small houses for accommodation located directly on the marina grounds.

При заходе стоит учитывать движение и стоянку крупных судов в соседнем порту, хотя сам заход выглядит достаточно понятным и удобным.
Швартовка — к понтонным пальцам, места для манёвра достаточно, поэтому даже в одиночку особых проблем быть не должно. На понтонах есть вода и электричество. Марина хорошо укрыта: внутри большой волнолом, дополнительную защиту дают крупные суда.
Доступ на гостевые понтоны ограничен пропусками. При этом сама марина находится прямо в центре города, поэтому вокруг много туристов и довольно шумно. Из-за размера и городской атмосферы здесь нет той камерности, которая есть, например, в Velas или Horta.
Я посещал марину с берега, а не приходил сюда на яхте, поэтому душевые и туалеты лично не проверял. Видел капитанию, Blue Flag и небольшие домики для размещения прямо на территории марины.
