A very pleasant small marina in the picturesque town of Velas. I inspected it as a tourist and did not enter here by yacht, so I evaluate only what I saw on site. The entrance looks simple and clear. There is water and electricity on the pontoons, and mooring is organized at finger pontoons. The area is fenced and gives an impression of being secure. The marina has a Blue Flag. On the walls, as in Horta, there are many graffiti and paintings left by yachtsmen — this gives the place character. The town itself is very beautiful, and it is not far to Pico from here, so I consider Marina de Velas an excellent option for a stop on a route around the Azores. I did not check the sanitary facilities.
Очень приятная небольшая марина в живописном городе Велаш. Я осматривал её как турист, а не заходил сюда на яхте, поэтому оцениваю только то, что видел на месте. Вход выглядит простым и понятным. На понтонах есть вода и электричество, швартовка организована у finger-понтонов. Территория огорожена и производит впечатление безопасной. У марины есть Blue Flag. На стенах, как и в Хорте, много граффити и росписей, оставленных яхтсменами — это добавляет месту характер. Сам город очень красивый, а от Пику сюда идти недалеко, поэтому Marina de Velas считаю отличным вариантом для остановки на маршруте по Азорам. Санитарные удобства я не проверял.
