About de Velas Marina
Marina de Velas is a public recreational harbour facility on the south coast of São Jorge, adjacent to the town of Velas. The facility provides fixed visitor berths and is managed by Portos dos Açores. The harbour office maintains opening hours and receives visiting craft.
Practical support on site includes radio working channels and an on-site shore crane for lifting and handling. Harbour contact by phone and by email is published; a small town with shops and excursion operators lies within easy walking distance of the marina.
