🇸🇮 Slovenia

Slovenia is a compact but well-equipped Adriatic coast with modern marinas and very short passages

About Slovenia

Slovenia’s Adriatic coast is one of the shortest in Europe (about 46 km) yet densely equipped with ports and marinas. Navigation is straightforward: minimal tides, weak currents, and nearby shelter. The area was historically part of the Venetian Republic, clearly visible in the architecture of Piran and Izola.

Main yachting bases are located in Koper, Izola, and Portorož, offering solid repair and service facilities.

The coast works well as a transit corridor between Italy and Croatia. A common guidebook phrase fits well: "Small coast, big comfort."
