Umag marinas

Umag is located in north-western Istria and often serves as the first Croatian stop when sailing from Slovenia or Italy. The town combines a small historic center with modern tourist infrastructure, without the presence of a large commercial port. Approaches are straightforward, depths are sufficient, and maneuvering is comfortable for mid-size yachts. 

Berthing areas are well protected from Adriatic swell, making Umag suitable for overnight stays and weather waits. Yachting activity is moderate compared to central Dalmatia, giving the port a relaxed atmosphere. 

Umag works well as a transit stop and as a starting point for sailing south along the Istrian coast.
