Poreč marinas

Poreč lies on the western coast of Istria and occupies a compact peninsula with a well-sheltered harbor. The town is renowned for its Roman and Byzantine heritage; its historic core is UNESCO-listed, adding cultural value to a nautical visit. 

For sailors, Poreč works as a convenient stop between Umag and Rovinj and as a place for overnight stays and provisioning. Approaches are straightforward, the harbor area is spacious, and maneuvering is comfortable for most cruising yachts. 

Even with strong north-westerly winds, conditions inside the harbor remain relatively calm. In season the town is lively, while yacht areas stay clearly separated from passenger traffic.
