Murter

Murter is an island at the boundary of Northern and Central Dalmatia and a classic launching point for routes into the Kornati archipelago. The area is sheltered by islands and coastline, so even in fresh conditions you can usually find calm water and protection. Berthing here works as a “network”: instead of one mega-marina, there are several close alternatives—Murter (Hramina), Betina, and Jezera, plus options around Tisno. This makes planning flexible, letting you choose based on wind, draft, and needs (service/overnight/crew change). 

In season traffic is heavy, yet maneuvering is typically calm thanks to protected waters. Murter’s key advantage is quick early access into Kornati without long passages.
