Jahtsadamad: Gravelines

Gravelines is a small fortified town located between Dunkerque and Calais, historically linked to coastal trade and defense of the Flemish coast. The yacht marina lies inside a canal basin, completely sheltered from North Sea swell and commercial shipping. Access is via a lock, requiring schedule coordination, but providing stable depths and very calm berthing conditions. Tidal influence inside the marina is minimal. 

For yachts, Gravelines is often chosen as a quiet alternative when nearby ports are busy or challenging.
