The museum on Ruhnu Island provides visitors with a unique insight into the island's history, culture, and nature. It displays old work and household items, traditional costumes, photographs, and texts that reflect Ruhnu’s distinctive heritage. Rare exhibits include 7200-year-old quartz tools from seal hunters, a dragon-head-shaped weather vane from 1644, a seal gun, and much more, offering visitors the opportunity to explore Ruhnu's rich history and natural resources.
In addition, the Korsi Farm is being restored. It is the only nearly fully preserved Ruhnu-Swedish farm complex in the world, providing a unique glimpse into the past. The museum is open to visitors from April to October.
