Марины: Szczecin
Szczecin is an inland port on the Oder at Lake Dąbie—the head of the Świnoujście–Szczecin fairway (deepened to −12.5 m)—and a handy base for day trips on the Szczecin Lagoon and Poland’s inland waterways.
О месте Szczecin
Set on the Oder/Regalica by Lake Dąbie, Szczecin sits at the top of the deep-water route from Świnoujście—the river gateway to the Baltic via the lagoon. For visiting crews it offers two faces: the urban Oder waterfront with events and services, and broad Lake Dąbie as a sheltered training ground. From here, day sails reach the Szczecin Lagoon and onward toward Usedom/Wolin, keeping in mind the lagoon’s shallow nature and buoyed channels.
A compact network of berths spans Lake Dąbie and the city basins, making provisioning, crew changes and maintenance straightforward. Commercial traffic is frequent on the Świnoujście–Szczecin fairway—plan crossings and maintain a sharp lookout. Summer brings river-and-lake cruises and waterfront events; sightseeing boat operators run regular routes on the Oder and Lake Dąbie.
Overall, it’s a practical base “between sea and river”: urban stopovers, short practice sails, and lagoon hops all fit into a single day plan.
