Set on the Strait of Gibraltar, Ceuta sees busy traffic outside while the inner harbour provides sheltered, city-front moorings. Approaches are well marked; expect frequent ferries and bunkering traffic near the entrance and plan manoeuvres with radio watch.

Tides are small; wind setup dominates water levels and sea state, with short, steep chop possible in persistent easterlies/westerlies.
