The harbour lines the inner bay and the narrow channel, so stern-/bow-to mooring is in generally calm water with city services within walking distance.
Cruising is day-sail style across the Saronic/Argolic—toward Hydra, Spetses and the Methana/Epidavros side.
Expect frequent ferries and water-taxis in the channel; keep a VHF watch and clear of the ferry quay. Tidal range is small; wind/pressure drive levels and chop, with occasional local set in the channel and gusts off the hills.
Summer brings reliable afternoon breezes; in high season town-quay space fills quickly.
