Lakka Harbour

Greece Paxos & Antipaxos

О марине Lakka Harbour

Lakka Harbour is a well-known anchorage situated at the northern tip of Paxos, one of the Ionian Islands in Greece. The harbour is a natural, horseshoe-shaped bay that offers shelter from prevailing winds, making it a popular stop for yachts and sailing vessels cruising the region. The entrance to the bay is easily identifiable, flanked by headlands with a lighthouse on the northern side, and the waters inside are generally calm.

The village of Lakka lies at the head of the bay, providing access to basic amenities such as tavernas, small shops, and provisions. There are no formal marina pontoons or extensive shore-based facilities; most visiting yachts anchor or moor in the bay, either free swinging or with lines ashore. The seabed consists mainly of sand and weed, offering good holding for anchors. While there are no dedicated marina services, the harbour’s natural protection and proximity to the village make it a practical and scenic stop for sailors exploring Paxos and Antipaxos.
