Марины: Ithaca
Ithaca is a compact Ionian playground between Kefalonia and the mainland: the town basin at Vathy, short hops to Kioni and Frikes, micro-tidal waters with a summer maistral, gusty katabatics in narrow inlets, and sand patches among seagrass for reliable anchoring.
О месте Ithaca
The island runs north–south and naturally lends itself to short day sails between close harbours.
Vathy is the primary landfall—a long, sheltered bay with town-front moorings and services within walking distance. Farther north along the east coast, Kioni and Frikes are small, characterful stops with limited berths; most boats go stern-to with their own anchors.
Summer brings a reliable NW maistral; expect local acceleration and occasional night katabatics in confined bays. Tides are small; sea level and chop are mainly wind-driven, with additional wash from passing traffic.
Seabeds are patchy—aim for sand between Posidonia, and consider long lines ashore in tighter coves. Peak-season traffic is busy, so early arrivals and clear VHF coordination make life easier.
