Adding Attractions

Attractions are places of interest for sailors—such as lighthouses, monuments, restaurants, or other noteworthy sites. They help enrich the community by highlighting unique locations.

On Sailors.tips, an attraction is defined as any place that holds significance for the sailing community. When adding an attraction, you are required to provide essential information to ensure its usefulness for fellow sailors:

 • City: Specify the city where the attraction is located.

 • Nearby Marinas: List the marinas in the vicinity of the attraction.

 • Coordinates: Enter the coordinates accurately in the format: 59.46696427094954, 24.824827455402755.

 • Text & Photos: All descriptions and images must be your own original work. While professional quality is not mandatory, authenticity is key.

Every field in the attraction submission form is mandatory (except for the optional gallery). Additionally, users receive bonus points for adding attractions and for writing reviews about them. This not only rewards your efforts but also helps maintain a rich, community-driven resource for all sailors.
