Марины: Gent
Inland city on the Leie and Scheldt with sea access via the Ghent–Terneuzen Canal. Once past the sea locks you’re on largely level-controlled waters, with the old town right by the quays and easy connections into Flanders’ canal network.
О месте Gent
Ghent sits at the confluence of the Leie and the Scheldt and is reached from the sea through the Terneuzen lock complex and a straight ship canal. Beyond the locks the water is essentially tideless, so moorings in town are calm while timing mainly revolves around bridge schedules and local operating windows. The main canal can be busy with commercial traffic, but inside the city you’ll find sheltered basins a short walk from the historic core. It works well as a pause between coastal passages and a gateway to the inland routes across Flanders.
