Pāvilosta, located on Latvia's western Baltic coast, features a modest yet well-protected marina situated at the mouth of the Saka River. Available amenities include fresh water, electricity, showers, toilets, and waste disposal. Fuel is not directly available at the marina but can be arranged locally upon request.

Navigation into Pāvilosta requires caution due to shifting sandbanks and shallow depths near the river mouth; sailors should closely follow marked channels and updated charts. Typical depths within the marina basin range from 2.5 to 3.5 meters. Prevailing winds are predominantly westerly and southwesterly, with sailing conditions generally favorable from May to September.

Historically, Pāvilosta developed as a fishing and maritime trade village in the late 19th century, and today it remains a popular waypoint for yachts cruising along the Latvian coastline.
