The urban harbour lines the historic waterfront, with yacht districts stretching east toward Mürwik, Sonwik and Fahrensodde. Within the fjord you’ll find “city routes”: beaches at Glücksburg, the Holnis peninsula and small marinas on both shores are all within a few hours.

Shore logistics are simple—workshops, provisioning, public transport and seasonal water services converge in one hub. The local Baltic is effectively non-tidal; levels and conditions are driven more by wind setup than by astronomical tide. Summer brings a busy regatta rhythm, while the shoulder seasons still suit quick outings and hops to the Danish side of the fjord.
