Марины: Kalundborg
Kalundborg is a sheltered harbour on western Zealand, commonly used as a stop before or after crossing the Great Belt.
О месте Kalundborg
Kalundborg lies on the western coast of Zealand, deep inside Kalundborg Fjord, directly adjacent to the Great Belt (Storebælt). Historically, it played a key role in trade between the Baltic Sea and the North Sea. Approaches are well marked and generally straightforward, though strong westerly winds can create currents and sea state in the Belt.
The yacht harbour is separated from heavy commercial traffic and offers good shelter. Kalundborg is often used as a staging harbour before crossing the Great Belt or as a first stop after the passage. The town is compact and convenient for provisioning.
