The primary marina, ACI Marina Korčula, located adjacent to Korčula town, accommodates approximately 159 berths for yachts up to 45 meters. Facilities include fuel station, electricity, fresh water, showers, toilets, Wi-Fi, and waste disposal. Additional anchorages and smaller harbors, such as Vela Luka and Lumbarda, offer limited mooring spaces and basic amenities.

Sailing conditions around Korčula are generally moderate, with prevailing winds being the Maestral (northwest) during summer afternoons and occasional stronger Bora (northeast) winds, particularly in spring and autumn. Currents are minimal, and water depths around the island are typically safe, though caution is advised near coastal shallows and reefs. The sailing season extends from May through October, with peak activity in July and August.

Historically, Korčula has a rich maritime heritage, notably as the reputed birthplace of famed explorer Marco Polo, reflecting its longstanding nautical tradition.
